When you have such intense craving for something in a relationship that you keep trying to get it and can’t, you’re actually pushing it away. The energy of desperate wanting repels the very thing you desire. This applies to all deep cravings.
This means subconsciously you’re not ready for it, don’t want it, or haven’t admitted what receiving it would do to your identity. You haven’t fully accepted your desire for it and your willingness to receive it.
The helpful recognition for anyone stuck in “I want this so badly and I can’t get it” is to see that the craving energy itself is creating the obstacle. The path forward isn’t to want harder but to investigate why you haven’t fully accepted your desire and your capacity to receive.
