When expressing suppressed rage, there’s a crucial distinction: dominate, don’t convince.
The woman starts saying “Fuck you, I’m not a train wreck” but she’s:
- Trying to convince herself
- Trying to convince Joe
- Trying to convince the world
That’s not the exercise.
“This is dominate. FUCK YOU. I am NOT a train wreck.”
The Difference
Convincing: “No, please, you don’t understand, I’m really not…” Dominating: “FUCK YOU. That is NOT who I am.”
One is victim. One is power.
Why It Matters
The victim position keeps the rage contained. It’s still managed, controlled, acceptable. Real rage—the healing kind—isn’t polite.
“Less of the victim, more of the rage.”
What Gets Annihilated
Not you. The false identity.
“The identity of being a train wreck is about to get annihilated.”
That’s the fear: if I let this rage out, I’ll be destroyed. But what gets destroyed is only the lie.
