The resistance you feel in a personal development course isn’t separate from the resistance you feel in life. It’s the same resistance. If you think transformation is hard, you probably think a dozen other things are hard too—and that belief is making all of them hard.
“The same resistance that would block me from getting something out of the course is usually the same kind of resistance that would block me from getting something out of my workout.”
This means a course (or any container for growth) is actually a microcosm. Your patterns show up in miniature. The exercise that seems like a “nothing burger” until you do it—and then suddenly feelings come up—reveals the exact thing that’s been driving you away from opportunities your whole life.
